Managing Your Account

Sign Up

Sign Up is easy! Click the “Sign Up” link, located just underneath the Sign In button. Fill in the required username, email, and password boxes. Afterwards, tap “Submit”, and you’re ready to go!


Logging In, Logging Out

Navigate to the “Profile” icon (*display the icon) located on the bottom right of your screen. This will take you to your Profile page. To log out, click on the “Settings” icon (*display icon), located in the top portion of your Profile. From there, you will see a “Log Out” bar — when clicked, it will log you out of your Yodelay profile, and bring you to the Sign In page. You can log in to your profile from this Sign In page.


How Do I Change My Name?

Navigate to the “Profile” icon (*display the icon) located on the bottom right of your screen. This will take you to your Profile page. To change your profile photo, click on the ‘Edit Profile’ button at the top of your profile. From there, you can customize many aspects of your profile, including your name!


How Do I Change My Profile Photo?

Navigate to the “Profile” icon (*display the icon) located on the bottom right of your screen. This will take you to your Profile page. To change your profile photo, click on the ‘Edit Profile’ button at the top of your profile. Then, click on the “camera” icon, and set your Profile image!


How do I turn on access to Phone Contact for Yodelay?

Yodelay’s access to your phone’s contacts can be turned on/off through the iPhone Settings application*. Navigate to the Settings app, scroll down until you find “Yodelay”, and handle access permissions from there by toggling them on/off.

*Unfortunately, this capability is unavailable for Android users.


How do I turn on/off access to Camera/Photo for Yodelay?

Yodelay’s access to your phone’s Camera/Photos can be turned on/off through the iPhone or Android Settings application. Navigate to the Settings app, scroll down until you find “Yodelay”, and handle access permissions from there by toggling them on/off.


Creating a Group

Navigate to the “group” icon (*display the icon) located on the bottom of your screen. This will take you to all of the groups that you are currently a member of. To create a group, click on the ‘+’ icon on the top of the screen. Fill out a name and your privacy settings, and tap “Create” to officially create the group. Now you can customize the profile!


Customize a Group Profile

If you are the Admin for a Group, you can customize the Group’s profile! Navigate to the “information” icon (*display the icon) located in your Group’s main page. From there, you will be directed to the Group Info page. You can edit the information of the Group profile by tapping “Edit” in the top right corner to change the Group profile picture, name, a description, and more!


Reporting a Post or Direct Message

To report a post, click on the “three dot” icon (*display icon) located on the post. From there, click “Report This Post”. To report a direct message, hold down on the message for a few seconds, until a “Message Options” menu is displayed. From there you can “Report This Message”.


Delete Your Account

Navigate to the “Profile” icon (*display the icon) located on the bottom right of your screen. This will take you to your Profile page. To log out, click on the “Settings” icon (*display icon), located in the top portion of your Profile. From there, you will see a “Delete Account” option — when clicked, you will get a confirmation (just in case your finger slipped!) If you still want to continue to delete your account, tap “Yes, Delete My Account”.

How does Yodelay get paid?

You’re probably wondering how we keep the lights on, yeah? I get it. We don’t run ads, and we don’t sell data. So how are we racking in the bucks? Through our subscription business plan! The users that really love our app have gone all-in, and want to take part in more than the three free groups that you get with the free membership. They’ve decided that our social experience is totally worth the 99 cents.

Basically a free trial, but for life! Here’s your chance to try out what we offer, and see if this social experience is the right vibe for you and your friends. No strings attached – we want you to feel just as jazzed about this app as us. If you’re not, no harm done! But, if you love it, spread the love 🙂


How Yodelay uses your credit card for automatic payments

Each Post has a Reaction Bar added to it. The Reaction Bar let’s you easily react to a Post by adding a “Like”, an emoji reaction or a comment.


How do I see who added a Reaction to one of my Posts?

Just like every other app! Apple and Google Play both have payment plans that are directly connected to Yodelay. We don’t store or process your credit card information, but if you sign up for the subscription service, you get signed up for automatic payments that get drawn from the card you have linked to your app store account.


Compatibility

Is Yodelay compatible with my device?

Yodelay is compatible with iPhones and Androids. We’re still in development for iPads and web browsers. Stay tuned 🙂


Is Yodelay available on other platforms?

Currently, we have made the social app available to mobile only. However, we are in the development of other platforms (like web browsers and iPads). Stay tuned!
